Take a Stand

With everything going on in Wisconsin lately it just goes to show how important Unions are. Well the same thing is going to be happening soon in Missouri. SB-1 (Right-to-Work) is the bill that lawmakers are trying to pass now. It will have the same effect as what they are trying to do in Wisconsin. If we all join together, we can prevent this from happening.

It is time to take a stand and no longer be pushed around. If SB-1 (Right-to-Work) passes through the Senate and House we are giving up all of our rights in the workplace. It strips away our collective bargaining powers. The biggest lobbyist on the bill are corporations that are trying to prevent us from being able to provide for our families. It is like what Russ Feingold has said: "The idea of allowing corporations to have unlimited influence on our Democracy is very dangerous, obviously." So I urge you to tell your Representative not to support this bill.
